You must have worked with several hotels around the world, what is unique about The Apurva Kempinski Bali? Tell us about the new hotel.

 The Apurva Kempinski Bali honours the nation’s belief of unity in diversity. From the unmistakable characteristic of Balinese architecture, to the Indonesian-inspired interior design aesthetics, the nation’s heritage and meticulous craftsmanship are thoroughly reflected throughout the resort. In addition, the resort offers one of a kind feature such as majestic lobby, iconic grand staircase, Bali’s first aquarium restaurant, and other wow factors that distinguish and sets The Apurva Kempinski Bali apart from the competition.

 

What is the most memorable achievement in your career at hospitality industry?

Recently, I won “Kempinski Public Relations Awards 2018” for Asia Region.

 

How do you cope with so many competitions in Bali these days? What is your hotel doing to stay competitive?

We did meticulous research in term of defining our concept and positioning, which now, are reflected in each of the guest journey. Our goal is to be the market leader in the next 3 years and how to achieve that is by continuously, do the competitor research, personalization, develop unique brand, and be efficient in the process.

 

What do you think your strongest personal quality is?

I am passionate and eager to learn something new.

 

If you could pick one place anywhere in the world to be your dream destination, where would it be?

Hawaii. Me and family are deeply in love with beach and nature!

 

Can you share tips for women who would like to follow the same career path?

Be passionate, follow the trends, find your own role models who are able to inspire you, and keep your goals higher and higher.

 

What do you do for fun during your day off?

Running and cuddling with my son.

 

If you were given a chance for a fix up in life, what would you do differently?

If I could turn back time, I would prefer to take my bachelor degree in marketing / business development.
