Alila Seminyak Introduces Sonika Adlakha as Director of Sales & Marketing 

Alila Seminyak is pleased to announce a new addition to the leadership team. As of 1 November 2022, Sonika Adlakha has been appointed the Director of Sales & Marketing for Alila Seminyak, Bali to further develop its growing position in hospitality. Sonika is a seasoned hotelier with experience spanning across India, the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka, Oman, Singapore, and Macau for more than 20 years leading world-class teams. 

She has previously worked with InterContinental Group and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Las Vegas Sands Corporation, Al Nahda Resort, and Spa and Dunes by Al Nahda, Sun Siyam Resorts, Outrigger Konotta, and most recently, Malahini Kuda Bandos, where she held the position of  Commercial Director. Her experience also includes three major  international pre-openings.  In her role as Director of Sales & Marketing, Sonika Adlakha will be responsible for the overall positioning of  Alila Seminyak, brand communication, and proactive strategies that grow market awareness and revenue for  the resort. “With formidable experience in the hospitality industry and luxury brands, leadership acumen, and  an insatiable appetite for success, Sonika is an exciting addition to our growing team. She will undoubtably be  a pivotal force in helping us achieve and exceed our ambitious growth plans” said the General Manager of  Alila Seminyak – Ms. Christiane Ferger on Sonika’s appointment. 

Hailing from New Delhi, India, Sonika has honed her forte in sales, distribution, marketing, and communication  across more than two decades of luxury hospitality experience. She earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality  management from M.S. Ramaiah University in Bangalore before pursuing a master’s degree in business  administration from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in Pune, India.
