Ni Yayuk Nilam Sari, Commis Pastry at The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali won 1st place in the Traditional Jajan Pasar / Indonesian Sweets and Savories at the Indonesia Pastry Alliance Championship (IPA) 2019. Indonesia’s primary pastry / bakery competition for Junior and Advanced Professional Chefs, IPA Championship 2019, took place from 26 to 28 September at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre during Bali Inter FOOD 2019. This live competition pits pastry / bakery chef teams against one another, culminating in a display of the most delightful and beautiful pastry / bakery creations. The competition saw teams create outstanding showpieces, cakes, desserts, pralines / bonbons and bakery items to be judged by a jury comprising professional, licensed WACS judges. The event aims to raise the accomplishments of Indonesia’s talented chefs to an international standard.
