CHEF JONAS NOËL: ELEVATING CULINARY EXCELLENCE AT KORAL RESTAURANT

The Apurva Kempinski Bali is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Jonas Noël as the Executive Chef of Koral Restaurant. Chef Jonas is poised to lead Koral Restaurant to new heights, bringing his extensive experience and culinary expertise to the role. He has over 20 years of experience in Michelin-starred and five-star establishments across France, Norway, Hong Kong, and China. Chef Jonas brings a wealth of expertise in classical French cuisine with an international touch.
Born in Metz, France, Chef Jonas began his culinary journey in 2000, under the mentorship of the legendary Michel Bras at Restaurant BRAS in Laguiole, a three-Michelin-starred establishment. He gained valuable experience in top tier kitchens, including a role as Sous Chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Norway, and later moving to Asia to work in fine dining establishments.
Throughout his career, Chef Jonas has worked alongside renowned chefs, including Erik Renaa at RE-NAA Restaurant in Norway and Joël Robuchon in Shanghai, where he played a key role in opening L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, which earned two Michelin stars. He has also held key leadership roles at Le Fitz Roy Hotel in Val Thorens and Kooma in Strasbourg.
As Executive Chef of Koral Restaurant, Chef Jonas aims to elevate the dining experience, showcasing his culinary expertise and creativity. He plans to bring the restaurant to a global audience by incorporating his cooking expertise, while maintaining the essence of Koral Restaurant’s unique dining experience.
