UU-restaurant- Uma Cucina-entrance From April 26th to 28th the artisanal town of Ubud will become a hub of cooking classes, workshops and night markets where the flavours and produce of Indonesia can be endlessly explored. Every spring, Indonesia’s top chefs, restaurateurs and serious foodies are drawn to Bali in search of fresh culinary experiences during the three-day Ubud Food Festival. This year, COMO Uma Ubud’s Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Uma Cucina, will collaborate with Maurizio Bombini — head chef of Bali’s celebrated restaurant, Mauri — for a one-night takeover. On April 27th, Maurizio’s contemporary take on traditional Italian cuisine will be showcased in an authentic four-course menu, using Bali’s finest seasonal ingredients. Highlights include ravioli ‘norma’ with smoked ricotta and a Mauri-style tiramisu. This meal can be complemented with a sommelier-picked wine pairing. Themed ‘Contemporary Italian with a touch of tradition at Uma Cucina’, the collaboration will begin at 6.30 pm. The four-course dinner is priced at IDR 580,000, with additional wine pairings at IDR 420,000.
