Five emerging artists from different regions of Indonesia are gearing up for an art exhibition with a theme, Dari Masa Ke Rasa #2. They are Agung Tato Suryanto (Surabaya), Agustan (Jakarta), Angga Sukma Permana (Yogyakarta), Made Kenak Dwi Adnyana (Bali), and M. Muhlis Lugis (Makasar). Yogyakarta was the place where all five of them met in the same class at ISI Yogyakarta. With the same passion and love, this little group of friendship grows their creative ideas deeply through their works that has been exhibited in the island of Gods from November 17th until the end of December 2017.
Dari Masa Ke Rasa #2 held at Griya Santrian Gallery Sanur; it is a continuation of the exhibition they had previously in Surabaya under the same name. Thematically, Dari Masa Ke Rasa #2 is their interpretation of time and sense. They interpret time as a period or momentum that influences their creative process as an artist. Many things they meet in their creative process phase such as technical exploration, thematic ideas and fine art knowledge influences their perspective, which is the sense. In short, they comprehend a time where their creative process becomes a momentum to develop their senses.
