HANAMI YORU: A TWO-NIGHT CELEBRATION OF JAPANESE ELEGANCE AT ALILA VILLAS ULUWATU
On May 1st and 2nd, 2025, Alila Villas Uluwatu, in collaboration with Miss Fish Bali, presents Hanami Yoru—an immersive two-night culinary journey inspired by Japan’s Golden Week and the poetic tradition of Hanami, the celebration of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
This exclusive event invites guests to indulge in an evening where Japanese flavors, artistic presentation, and refined ambiance come together in perfect harmony. The experience begins with sunset cocktails at the iconic Sunset Cabana Bar from 6 to 7 PM, where handcrafted Japanese-inspired libations and delicate canapés are served amidst breathtaking cliffside ocean views. Thoughtful floral installations and golden hour lighting set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
From 7 to 9 PM, the celebration continues with the Hanami Dinner at CIRE, Alila’s acclaimed fine dining restaurant. Guests will be treated to a collaborative tasting menu crafted by the culinary minds of Executive Chef Carlos Barvo of Miss Fish Bali and the chefs of Alila Villas Uluwatu. With a culinary philosophy rooted in Japanese tradition and enriched by Chef Carlos’s Spanish-Colombian heritage, the menu showcases premium seafood, seasonal ingredients, and a harmony of umami flavors—each dish paired with sake, wine, or handcrafted cocktails for a fully immersive experience.
To complete the evening, guests are invited to Batique for an after-dinner lounge experience from 9 PM onward. Signature cocktails by Rahadhie Putra, Bar Manager of Miss Fish Bali, will accompany live DJ sets blending lo-fi Japanese beats and deep house, creating a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere to unwind and connect.
