HOTEL INDIGO BALI SEMINYAK BEACH CELEBRATES 8TH ANNIVERSARY ACROSS 8 NEIGHBORHOODS OF BALI

author : , published : 17 June 2025

As Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach celebrated its 8th anniversary and its remarkable journey of being a neighborhood-inspired resort on June 16, 2025, the hotel is spotlighting the unique charms of Bali’s 8 regencies and 1 city through a  curated series of social media content. Highlighting stories of the hotel’s very own Neighborhood Host (Staff) from diverse parts of the island, the short-form visuals will  invite the guests and audience alike to take a closer look at the rich heritage and  landscape of Bali that has shaped the vibrant resort today, and perhaps note a destination or two for their next tropical adventure.

Staying true to its Brand Service Culture of being creative, celebrating individuality,  and discovering the neighborhood, this milestone celebration embraces the rich diversity of Bali, from the cultural heart of Gianyar to the coastal charm of Karangasem.  And as a reaffirmation of the resort’s commitment to brand culture, sustainable luxury, and personalized service, the past year has seen the property earn several prestigious  international accolades, including Top 4 Indonesia Resorts on DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards 2024 and the recent nomination on 2025 Condé Nast Traveler  Readers’ Choice Awards.

“Celebrating our 8th amazing year, we chose to spotlight our connection with the nature, culture, and communities that inspire our journey and core values in running  the hotel’s operation,” said Andreas Bergel, the General Manager of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach and Area General Manager for IHG Indonesia. “Each regency and city in Bali represent a different personality of our resort; vibrant, uniquely different,  and proudly rooted in the neighborhood stories.”

In Badung, the team will explore the island’s iconic surfing culture, while Gianyar offers a deep dive into traditional art and handmade creations. Bangli highlights the cool highlands and their famed Kintamani oranges, and Buleleng brings  attention to its rich local coffee culture. The eastern regency of Karangasem focuses on underwater life and coral conservation, while Jembrana invites celebration through vibrant local festival of buffalo race called “makepung”. Tabanan will connect  one with nature through immersive rice field trekking, and Klungkung pays homage to Bali’s heritage with its intricate endek textile painting. Finally, the city of Denpasar reveals its charm through a special music collaboration, exclusively curated for the  resort by a Balinese musician, proudly representing the vibrant local community.

Internally, the spirit of giving back extends through staff-led social responsibility efforts,  including visits to local orphanages, environmental clean-up initiatives, and community  donations.

This campaign will kickstart in June, mainly on social media and will go on to the end of the year, making the second half of 2025 truly an exciting series of celebrations ahead. Loyal guests and audience are invited to stay tuned and witness as  Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach remains committed to delivering heartfelt  experiences, growing stronger with each year—one neighborhood, one guest, and  one story at a time.
