With the objective to prepare young generation and encourage them to advance into national and international, Indonesia Pastry Alliance (IPA) Bali Pastry Cup Challenge 2018 was just recently held in 27 October 2018 at Bali Culinary Pastry School and Politeknik International Bali.
Short listed participants were selected from 6 hotels in Bali whom competed for the prestigious place as the winner that will represent Bali to further join the Indonesia competition. Each hotel was represented by 2 chefs that must fulfill the category of Chocolate Showpiece and Mini French Pastries.
The event was sponsored by Cacaobarry Chocolate by PT. Sukanda Djaya Bali, Bali Culinary Pastry School and Politeknik Internasional Bali as the Platinum Sponsors, and supported by other vendors to include Goddes Bakery Bali, Capfruit by Classic Find Food, Anchor Dairy Product by Fontera, Squeeze, CV. Pelangi, PT. Mandala Kriya Utama, Yan’s House by Toko Nyoman, Dineta Jaya, Prambanan Kencana, Puspanadi Strawberry Farm, Bali Pick, Masuya, Toko Kue Steve Jaya and Delisari.
The competition was finally won by Hotel Indigo Bali represented by Chef Stefan and Chef Lusiani, while 2nd place was Bulgari Resort Bali represented by Chef Yoga and Chef Rai, and followed by Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa at 3rd place represented by Chef Nicolas and Chef Komang Tri
