As the General Manager of Sintesa Jimbaran, could you share some distinctive features of the property that makes your brand stand out from the others?
Our motto “Always in Harmony” makes us deliver the service in a very special way. Besides all the features that we have in the hotel such as: Residence with 1 (one) bedroom, 2 (two) bedrooms and 3 (three) bedrooms, Wellness consist of Spa and Gym equipped with steam and sauna for ladies and gents, 3 large swimming pools, Beauty salon, Kids Creativity Room, Movie Room, the BARber unique concept that combines Barbershop and Bar with pool table, Open Air Angin-Angin restaurant, Arcades, magnificent “Roof Top on 7” for yoga and sunset lovers, “Mezzanine on 7” for dinner or banquet, 7 (seven) meeting rooms for break out, 1 (one) Exhibition room and hourly shuttle to our Beach Club in Jimbaran Beach.
What is the most memorable achievement in your career at hospitality industry so far?
Every single achievement in my career is a memorable one since each has a different story and I honour them equally.
How do you motivate your staff and subordinates?
Training is one of the ways to motivate the staff, as well by respect and trust
If you could pick one place anywhere in the world to be your dream destination, where would it be?
Anywhere, right where my family is staying now; there is no place better than in a home with loving family staying in.
Who has inspired you the most in life?
My inspiration came from so many different people whom mostly my best trainer in my life-journey. Nowadays, my inspiration is my only son who is going to be 10 years next month that give me not only inspiration but also solid motivation.
What’s your favourite indoor/outdoor activity (explain a bit the reason why)?
I love to sing Jazz and swimming; the only hobby that I still do until today.
How would you define ‘leadership’ and what do you think is the most important quality to have to be one?
Leadership to me is to demonstrate my positive values and encourage others to do the extra miles that determine our values together as a team.
What book has influenced you the most?
“7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey, which had waken me up to become who I am now.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I would like to see myself to play more parts in delivering or encouraging new leaders into this world of hospitality.
