Tell me a little bit about yourself?

I went to a university in the US and paid my own tuition before receiving a scholarship. After I graduated, I went back to Jakarta and worked in a company for 2 years before entering the entrepreneur world up till now. My background is actually finance and international business and I have no formal education in the media. I’m a proud father of two; both of them study in university.

How do you cope with today’s fast growing of digital media

53% of the Internet users are still reading print media. Therefore we are consistently improving the non-digital media products such our print. We also continuously improve and expand other media products such as outdoor and electronic media.

In addition, we just soft launched our first mobile app called mycoupon, which can be downloaded in the App Store and Google Play. The app is currently on trial bases until February. In addition we are also planning to develop 2 more digital products in 2017.

Where is your dream vacation and why?

I don’t really have a dream vacation because I think each destination has its own interesting things to see and each will pleasant me in a different way. For me the most important thing while traveling is to have flexibility so I never have a daily plan of where to go or what to do.  I just go wherever I would feel like.

Who has inspired you in life?

I am basically inspired by most of the people that I know of as long as they are sincere and that includes my wife and kids. I think every human being has his or her own strengths and interesting experiences that we can learn from. I never got inspired by the success but the process and steps that they’ve gone through, are what inspired me.

What do you think would be the hardest thing to give up and why?

Family because they are simply what keep us growing to be a better person, you learn from them everyday with or without you realizing it.  Especially kids who are able to inspire you continually with their basic human characters in which sometimes have been forgotten by adult

How would you spend a billion dollar?

Hmmmm, I really don’t know, I like traveling and food. Besides sharing to others including you, I would probably buy a lot of good restaurants and eating there everyday.

What do you see yourself in 5 years

I would like to retire in 3 years or earlier if I can and see someone from the younger generation taking over my position and grow the company to be better.
