What excites you most about being the Director of Sales & Marketing at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve – the only Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Indonesia and one of only a few in the world ?
What excites me most about being the Director of Sales & Marketing at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is the opportunity to represent a truly rare and extraordinary brand. Mandapa is not just a luxury resort, it’s one of only a few Ritz-Carlton Reserves in the world, and the only one in Indonesia, which gives us a unique responsibility to uphold and express the spirit of Bali through the highest standards of personalized service, storytelling, and authenticity.

Being part of a brand that redefines ultra-luxury hospitality allows me to work with a passionate team to create highly tailored guest experiences, build deep emotional connections, and attract discerning travelers from around the globe who seek more than just a stay, they seek transformation. That level of impact, and the ability to lead strategy that balances commercial performance with soulful guest engagement, is what truly excites and inspires me every day.

Who has inspired you the most in life, and why? 
I’ve been fortunate to work with and learn from many inspiring leaders throughout my career, but the one who has had the greatest impact is my father. He taught me the value of humility, discipline, and integrity principles that continue to guide me in both my personal life and professional journey. His quiet strength and dedication have always reminded me to stay grounded, no matter how far I’ve come.

What do you enjoy most about working in the hospitality industry? 
For me, it’s the human connection. Hospitality is about creating meaningful experiences and touching people’s lives in ways that last long after their stay. I enjoy the dynamic nature of this industry; no two days are ever the same. Working at Mandapa, where every interaction is crafted with intention and authenticity, gives me a deeper sense of purpose and pride.

What’s your most memorable moment in your career?
One of the most memorable moments in my career has been stepping into the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Beyond the prestige of the property itself, what truly makes this role special is the team I work with every day. From the moment I joined, I was inspired by the passion, dedication, and authenticity of each Lady and Gentleman here. Collaborating with such a talented group who all share the same commitment to excellence and heartfelt service has been incredibly fulfilling. Together, we don’t just sell a product; we craft stories, build relationships, and create lasting impressions for our guests. Being able to grow with this team and contribute to Mandapa’s continued success is something I genuinely treasure.

Can you share the latest updates from Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, along with some of your most interesting offers?
We are continuously evolving to offer our guests curated and immersive experiences that reflect the spirit of Ubud. Recently, we’ve enhanced our Wellness Journey offerings with new holistic programs and private sessions led by renowned local healers and practitioner to help our guest disconnect digitally to reconnect to their mind body and soul. Apart from that, 2025 is a Decade of Excellence of Mandapa where we will celebrate this big event by making a special offer corelated into our three pillars including Gastronomy, wellness and sustainability.

You’ve travelled a lot – which has been your favorite destination so far, and why?
Even after visiting many incredible places around the world, Bali remains my favorite destination. There’s something truly magical about the island, the richness of its culture, the warmth of its people, and the harmony between nature and spirituality. Living and working here has given me a deeper appreciation for its beauty and traditions. Every time I explore a new village or meet a local artisan, I’m reminded why Bali is so special. It’s not just a place, it’s a feeling. And being part of Mandapa allows me to share that feeling with guests from around the world.

What do you do for fun during your day off?
On my day off, I love spending quality time with my family. Bali has so much natural beauty, so we often explore the island together, whether it’s discovering a hidden beach, fishing, staycation, trying new local food spots, or simply relaxing at home. It helps me recharge and reminds me why balance is so important in life.
