How do you compete with other established properties?

In this current stiff competition among the competitors, besides keep maintaining quality of product, we also strive to improving the quality of service as nowadays people will rely on the online review before deciding to book a hotel as well as thru friends/relatives’ recommendation. We provide equal service both for domestic and foreigner guests plus make a good engagement with the guest so they feel like to stay home away from home.

What is the most memorable achievement in your career at hospitality industry?

When I got a CHA title (Certified Hotel Administrator) from AHLEI (American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute). This is the most prestigious certification available to a hotel general manager and hospitality executive. It is part of an elite group of hospitality professionals who by combining education and experience with dedication to the industry have achieved a high level of expertise.

 

What do you enjoy most about working in this industry?

I can meet many people from many nations with different expectation. I can learn how to manage the staff and the art on how to win the competition by achieving our monthly target.

Can you share tips for women who would like to follow the same career path?

Especially for all women who have to balance their life between career and family, don’t be afraid to show your ability and to compete with others. We have to learn new things every day and broaden our knowledge and network.

If you could pick one place anywhere in the world to be your dream destination, where would it be?

 New Zealand. I really hope one day I will be able to visit this country.

What do you do for fun during your day off?

Watching movie or go to a village to meet my relatives.
