Rock ‘N Run now in it’s 17th year, is an annual charity event organized by Hard Rock Hotel Bali in-line with the Hard Rock mantra: “Take Time To Be Kind”. It was another successful year with more than 1200 runners participating in this charity 5km fun run and another 300 people made donations of support.
The 5km race was won by Samgar. Putu Andika was a close second and Gregorius finished third. Ella Barrat was the first female, second was Ni Kadek Ayu Sukarniti and third was Cita. The Simrons won the Family Category, while Elle from IndoRunners Bali won the Best Costume category.
Hard Rock Hotel Bali General Manager, Shane Coates, said ”In the last seventeen years, Hard Rock Hotel Bali’s Rock N‘ Run has raised billions of Rupiah to help some terrific local causes. This year all the funds generated will be distributed to Mt. Agung refugees. All runners by joining us in this event along with proceeds of our auction and donations from hotels guests have helped contribute to a significant figure that will go a long way in providing food and comfort for the Mt Agung refugees.”
