The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is proud to announce that this year’s UNICEF Check Out For Children charity initiative held recently was another overwhelming success. In the spirit of giving back, the resort hosted an afternoon of renewing yoga-inspired activities and raised over IDR 75 million for children in need.
Resident Wellness Specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal, collaborated with Anjasmara Prasetya, Indonesia’s leading yoga celebrity for this worthy event. It started off with a Wellness Rendezvous in the resort’s Beachfront Temple Garden. Healthy living enthusiasts were invited to connect over afternoon tea and a selection of SuperFoodsRx in the company of Jitendra and Anjasmara. Later in the afternoon, more than 170 participants gathered in the darkened ambience of Nusantara Hall for an intuitive 90-minute class led by Jitendra and Anjasmara.
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has continuously supported the UNICEF Check Out For Children charity for the past 21 years. All proceeds raised from the Yoga With Heart event will now be channelled directly to a project in the Asia Pacific region that gives children access to clean water and basic sanitation.
