Tanjung Benoa, Bali, Indonesia, 24 March 2018. Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa participated in the annual worldwide Earth Hour. A worldwide movement encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses across the globe to turn off non-essential lights for an hour to raise the awareness of the need to act on climate change.
For 60 minutes, all the lights in the resort were shut down starting at 20.30 hours to support the Earth Hour – it was also an opportunity to engage with our guests, employees and business partners to encourage energy saving by organizing several activities in the dark such as romantic candle light dinners by the beach, an Earth Hour video presentation and a candle ceremony at the Atrium pool. The highlight of the event was when all guest released candles at the Atrium pool, wishing for more sustainable future. We would like to encourage all the people in the world to be a part of this movement to support our planet and connect2earth.
